WISe About Wellness

Stevi Gable Carr

A local lifestyle platform is helping women prevent professional burnout

When Stevi Gable Carr launched WISe Wellness Guild in 2019, she had a vision of creating a lifestyle platform that could help women through whole-self wellness, achieve peak-performance and avoid burnout.

“WISe Wellness Guild provides leading-edge wellness consultations from trusted experts, a curated shop of high-value products and services and a purpose-driven community of multi-hyphenate women like you,” says Carr.

With more than 16 years of experience in brand building, Carr is a professional woman who also has a personal life and loves being engaged in her community. Carr knows how much high-performing women risk becoming burnt out during their professional careers as their wellness is often set aside for “more important” matters.

“WISe believes that by leading with a whole-human approach, self-awareness and positive intentional change, women can flourish in a space where career and financial wellness are integrated into mental, physical, nutritional, environmental, spiritual and social wellness,” she says.

WISe’s team includes Philishea Everage, Emily Humbert, Morgan Lewis, Olivia Moragne, Lirie VanSchaik, Makayla Stover, Andrew Draxton and an extended network of business partners. WISe Wellness Guild partners with over 400 vetted businesses in 33 states and six countries to offer curated wellness products, services, experiences and content.

“We aim to educate our consumers through inspiring storytelling across our platforms through a free newsletter, social media, a podcast and a blog to unite our community through expert-led experiences and to drive action through purchases on our e-commerce Marketplace platform,” she says.

In addition to the brand’s own education of consumers, it also offers business services such as strategic consulting, branded content, experience design and data-driven insights to support brands in their efforts to better connect with employees and consumers. A few of these partners include The Christ Hospital Health Network, Fifth Third Bank, Paycor, The Wellness Experience by Kroger and more.

WISe Wellness Guild also offers assistance with career coaching or job changes. “Career growth and change can be overwhelming and lonely—WISe aims to help women become more self-aware of their values, identity and rewards system during times of transition,” says Carr. “We partner with best-in-class experts in personal branding, resume writing, financial advisory services and executive career and life coaching to strategically support people along their journey. Further, we connect members with our extensive network to help make more informed decisions with a community of like-minded individuals.”

WISe Wellness Guild will continue its work in the Tristate, where it has become a trusted wellness authority in the region thanks to its high-value experiences provided to thousands of women.

“WISe proudly supports health care workers through providing free nutritious Crunchmaster snacks at the heigh of the COVID-19 pandemic, forest therapy retreats in partnership with Trek Outdoor and access to wellness resources,” says Carr. “Further, over the last two years we’ve provided over $2.5 million in value for local women and minority-owned businesses in consultation, advertising and public relations services.”
