We’re known for our “Natural Glam” styling, which brings out the best version of you and emphasizes all your best features, creating a gorgeous, yet natural look. We live to help our clients look and feel their best on one of the most important days of their lives. Weddings can be stressful to plan, which is why our team works diligently to make planning your beauty services as streamlined and stress-free as possible. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service throughout the planning process as well as on the big day. From start to finish, we want you to have a fabulous beauty experience!
The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Mains: The inspiration for Let’s Do Makeup and Hair came from our own frustration in the beauty industry. Time and time again, we saw shortcomings in the industry that begged to be fixed. For instance, you could get the end result of looking pretty, but the planning and communication it took to get that result was frustrating and unprofessional. Let’s Do Makeup and Hair wanted to be the leader in the Dayton/Cincinnati market that set the pace for training, quality, service, and professionalism, but still having fun with our clients while doing it!
We exist for two reasons – to make sure your hair and makeup look fabulous and that the entire process is a joy!
Even for someone who works in the wedding industry, I was completely overwhelmed with all the meetings, timelines and to-do lists that never seemed to end. When I found the love of my life and planned my dream wedding in 2018, I had no idea that it would also make me a better stylist and business owner, too. Being a bride again made me realize how much expert advice, open communication, and special touches were missing from wedding planning. Let’s Do Hair and Makeup is here to be a trusted, reliable reprieve from the chaos of wedding planning so that you can look and feel your best from start to glorious finish!

Mains: There is an entire team of us who are honored and excited to be such a special part of your dream day. We can’t wait to begin this journey with you.
The Chic Guide: What beauty services do you offer?
Mains: We offer on-location makeup and hair services. Our brides also book an additional Preview Appointment, which gives us the opportunity to help fix and hair or skin issues before the big day. Sometimes that includes color correction, haircuts, extensions, and anything else you could ever need.
Our team is full of highly-trained beauty professionals who each have a specialty they’re known for. This means we can take care of all your beauty needs, making it a convenient, one-stop-shop. We also have a full salon called The Salon at Let’s Do Makeup and Hair that offers salon services, so we can even get your groom looking fabulous too.
Since we specialize in on-location wedding makeup and hair services, that literally can be anywhere in the world. We also do out-of-state destination weddings.

Mains: What makes us unique is the years of service and training that goes into our highly vetted team. We never stop learning, growing, and striving to be our best. We also put a lot of thought into how you work with us. Transparency in pricing, easy communication, and extra flourishes like helping you make your wedding day beauty timeline are all part of the Let’s Do Makeup and Hair experience.
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Mains: One of the fun services we will be adding is Makeup Classes, where we will go through your cosmetic bag and help you remove products not good for you while suggesting others. We then will teach you how to apply it, bringing out your best features. This can be booked privately or in a fun group environment – a fun girl’s night out!

Mains: We just settled into our new salon location in The Lamplighter Village in Oakwood, at 2209 Acorn Drive. However, we’re already planning on expansion to fit our growing team and service list.
