Melissa Veith has a passion for celebrating different cultures. She was born in Costa Rica and grew up in Florida, in a bi-lingual home.
“I was fortunate enough to have traveled to at least 25 countries, and studied abroad, by the time I was 25 years old,” she says. “Every time I would travel I would always seek out the markets or anywhere I could shop artisan-made goods so I could take a little piece of that country home with me.”
It only made sense that Veith opened up her own shop. “The Artisan Boutique is a rainbow paradise of ethically handmade bags, accessories, and home decor from around the world,” she says. “This shop has evolved after years of creating my own pieces, but finally came across some amazing people from around the world to make my dream a reality.”
The Artisan Boutique Co. has a variety of products available to shop, including bags/totes, jewelry/hair accessories, hats, tassels, clothing, and home decor.
All of the pieces from The Artisan Boutique Co. is designed or curated by Veith. “I am meticulous to a faulty with every detail,” she says. “Every bag, accessory, or home decor piece that I bring in is handmade, one-of-a-kind, stylish, and ethically-made. Every purchase you make not only supports my small business, it supports communities from around the world.”
Veith says that she is always looking for unique pieces to add to her collections. “I am always looking to expand sourcing my pieces from additional countries from around the world – you never know what I will bring in next,” she adds.
