The Christ Hospital Health Network and WISe Wellness Guild have partnered to launch a new offering to provide meaningful and comprehensive health and wellness resources to corporate partners that extends beyond traditional healthcare based on relevant needs.
Sparking Change provides tailored programming and content rooted in organizational objectives, from executive level to entry level, and based on employee engagement strategies. “The Christ Hospital Health Network is committed to extending our support for the community beyond the traditional healthcare setting,” said Vic DiPilla, Chief Business Development of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “It’s important for corporations to explore new ways to support their employee’s well being”, says DiPilla, “and we want to help provide that platform.”
Corporations of all sizes are stepping up to ensure their employee’s well being remains the top priority. Investment in relationships and resources to support all elements of whole-self wellness, extending beyond traditional health and into relevant aspects of mental, emotional, occupational and financial health, have become a top priority.
Northern Kentucky University is one of the organizations that has leaned into this new program for their employees. “As an organization’s biggest asset and investment, employee’s health and well-being are of utmost importance and central to any organization’s success,” says Kim Baker, Director of University Wellness at Northern Kentucky University. “Innovation, creativity, problem-solving, engagement, and perseverance can abound when employees are supported and cared for in their whole-self wellness,” Baker continues. “Thriving employees make businesses thrive,” Baker states with conviction.
“Sparking Change provides access to a robust and diverse pool of local experts that aligns with our mission to support the health and well-being of NKU faculty and staff so they can bring their favorite selves to work each day” says Baker, a 12-year veteran of overseeing employee wellness at NKU. “This, in turn, aligns with my organization’s core values, and supports the strategic plan to advance student success. Healthy and engaged faculty and staff drive student success,” says Baker.
Sparking Change offers programming and workshops rooted in the 8 pillars of whole-self wellness. The program integrates occupational, financial and social wellness into other traditional health and wellness topics, and is presented in-person or virtually. Topics include Emotional Intelligence, Resilience, The Science of Stress, A Gratitude Mindset, Leading with Your Values, Enneagram for Leaders, Nutrition and Movement coaching and more. NKU’s program features medical experts from The Christ Hospital and local wellness resources, such as:
