Discover New Places

Discovering new places is right in your backyard.

Nature is one of my favorite places to spend time. When set with an intention before exploring, ask to see things you may otherwise overlook, both literally and figuratively.

You may be surprised what downloads will come when you choose to explore new places.

Taking walks in nature doesn’t mean you have to walk briskly or for a certain amount of time. The intention is to be aware and explore until you feel satisfied.

During the walks, you may notice flowers blooming in the most unusual places. Hear the call of the birds chirping back and forth. Pleasant, or unique, odors. And, of course, don’t forget to look up at the vast sky with the blueness or grayness, sun, and clouds. All of which is a delight in and of itself.

Regardless of where you are, there is always a place to explore nature and time to do so.

Before going outside, set the intention you want to connect with Mother Earth.

Establishing the purpose will begin opening up your chakras (energy centers of the body) and help create physical groundedness (a strong relationship with who you are, which brings you physical and emotional balance).

I share this with you because I know how easy it is to burn the candle at both ends and not take time for you. You are doing a fantastic job, and you can do even more for yourself by making time to explore nature.

In addition, walking in nature is a more accessible form of meditation.

You start by releasing the to-do list, all the emails, and calls for the day, and take yourself outside to “be present.” No agenda. And don’t worry, all that other stuff will be there when you return.

Set the intention to stay in tune with gratitude as you explore and notice all the detail in your surroundings. It is so good.

When you step back into your day, grounded and aligned with your higher self, you’ll find calmness when making decisions, ease and flow for taking inspired action, and deeply enjoying the day ahead.

Go now.  Step out into nature, even if it’s just for one minute!

Keep Shining!
