Chic Spotlight: Happy Blue Home

Personalize your living space while showcasing a sense of style with this local business.

The Chic Guide: What is Happy Blue Home?
Cynthia Louderback, Owner of Happy Blue Home: I created Happy Blue Home to share my passion for all things home; to create personalized living spaces and convey a sense of style. I believe your home should be your happy space. Happy Blue Home offers a positive customer experience and lovely, high-quality product at affordable prices.

The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Louderback: I have extensive experience working in the fashion and textiles industry, including Ralph Lauren Corporation. At a young age, I was inspired by children’s book illustrations and sketched and designed clothing for my dolls. My grandmother, Louise, influenced my creative side and shared her many talents including painting, crafting, quilting, pressing flowers, gardening, and baking.

The Chic Guide: What products and services do you offer from Happy Blue Home?
Louderback: I offer several services including consulting to create custom-made, hand-wired, unique wreaths and small faux floral arrangements for the home, the office, and as gifts. I also collaborate and source locally made bourbon barrel rings to embellish and sell as handing wall decor. I curate and sell vintage, whimsical, and elegant must-have pieces.

In addition, I provide professional home organization services and interior decor consultation. I am an expert merchandiser and planner, which translates seamlessly to organizing closets, kitchen pantry, laundry room, bedroom, estate sale prep, and home downsizing projects.

The Chic Guide: Are you participating in any upcoming events?
Louderback: Happy Blue Home is featured in juried markets and events, and in Mercantile on Main Boutique in Newtown. I currently travel or hand deliver within Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati locations, and ship in the U.S. for a charge.

The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Louderback: This fall and holiday season I am teaching wreath classes at McHarper Manor in Milford. I am also working on announcing dates for holiday markets and Happy Blue Home holiday gift wrapping events where we will provide stylish holiday gift wrapping services at a great value.
