The Chic Guide: What is Dayton Bartending Co?
Charlotte Quillen, Founder and Owner of Dayton Bartending Co: Dayton Bartending Co is a private event bartending service serving all of the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky areas. There is no event too big or too small! We’ve done events like fundraiser galas, weddings, birthday parties, campaign parties, company parties, baby showers, graduation parties, and more. The opportunities are limitless.
The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Quillen: Dayton Bartending Co was founded in 2020 after a friend had posted she needed someone to work the bar at her wedding! I was going solo, so I offered to do it for her! That way I was still able to attend the wedding and I was helping her out. That night, I decided to make it a little side hustle!
The Chic Guide: Who’s behind it?
Quillen: I’m Charlotte Quillen, I’m the owner and founder! In August 2021, I invited Kaetlyne Burns to be a partner. Together, we have a team of 11 bartenders.
The Chic Guide: What services do you offer?
Quillen: We offer the bar service, menu creation, assistance with shopping/shopping lists, and we have a mobile bar, Louise.
The Chic Guide: Are you participating in any upcoming events?
Quillen: In July, we are servicing 15+ weddings. In August, we are hosting our first annual golf outing to raise money for Women Founders – a non-profit, supporting women in entrepreneurship! In 2022, our team will service over 150 events!
The Chic Guide: What makes Dayton Bartending Co unique?
Quillen: Dayton Bartending Co is unique in the fact that we have a large team to service multiple events each day, we have a wide variety of service options/bar set ups, and we truly pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to your guests.
The Chic Guide: Can you tell us more about Louise?
Quillen: Louise is our 1950’s double horse trailer that we converted into a mobile bar! We can pull her and set her up at any event! She is an affordable way to ensure your guests have a fun and unique bar experience! Louise has a built-in cooler and tap system – so we can serve draft or canned beer. We also have all the tools necessary to mix up your favorite cocktails!
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Quillen: There is so much on the horizon for Dayton Bartending Co! We’re growing our business services to target more intimate events that would like a more detailed presentation – we refer to it as our boutique bar! We’ve also got a couple more things up our sleeves but those will be announced once all of our ducks are in a row!
