Willow Women’s Health provides women with holistic health care
When Dr. Laura J. Valle worked in Europe, it changed her perspective on health care and the type of provider she wanted to be upon her return to the U.S. Today, she is the founder and owner of Willow Women’s Health at 15 Southmoor Circle NE in Kettering.
“We provide perimenopause, menopause, gynecological, contraception, preconception and women’s health care along with concierge, in-home postpartum care in a safe, person-centered, holistic environment inclusive of shared decision making and trauma-informed care,” says Valle.
“I wanted to bring this type of care to patients here in Dayton,” she says. “Short, fast-paced appointments are exhausting for providers and patients leave unsatisfied without a connection to their provider. I want to build relationships with my patients to help them achieve their health care goals.”
Valle aims to fill the void that exists when it comes to care for women in their perimenopausal and menopausal years. She says that as one of the three NAMS-certified menopause practitioners in the region she focuses on providing evidence-based menopausal care. Other services provided by Willow Women’s Health that help it to stand out among other gynecologic providers in Dayton include the offering of shared decision making, trauma-informed care, in-home postpartum care visits and sexual health care.
