Your Nest Life

Bond with your littles and make life-long memories with this locally-based activity box.

Mom life is a busy life, but Your Nest Life is trying to help you connect, make memories, and enjoy the simpler things with your children.

Myanna Webster, Creative Director and Owner of Your Nest Life, says that the inspiration behind the business came from her own struggles of finding ways to connect with her children without the stress. “I have been that busy mom that wants so badly to connect with my three littles and celebrate through creating,” she explains. “Finding the time to get that all together felt daunting, though. I didn’t have hours to peruse Pinterest or run all over town, or the internet, to get materials. I also felt called by my Waldorf education to connect to the natural seasons and reflect those in my home with my kids. I wanted my three young children to feel that magic of celebrating and being grounded in the rhythm or the natural world.”

With its founding, Your Nest Life is a seasonal subscription box that makes it easier for you to make memories with your children. “We provide a stress-free way for women to connect with the special kiddos in their life through curated activities, recipes, mixes, and stories/celebrations that reflect the current season,” says Webster.

The mother-daughter duo behind the business includes Webster and her mother, Donna. Together they aim to share the magic of celebrating the little things in life through decorations, baking, and having fun.
There are different subscriptions offered by Your Nest Life, and each of the boxes has key components.

According to Webster, each box includes two different activities with all materials needed and details instructions, a baking mix, a recipe to make together, information on a tradition, a celebration or story from around the world, and a gift for the adult. She says that each activity also comes with enough materials to make two of whatever it is so it can be used with multiple children or for the adult to do their own along with the child. Add-ons are also available for each activity.

“It is our deepest hope that each box empowers that woman to soak up the small moments with their littles, themselves, and the world around them,” says Webster. “The box brings joy and fun, but also grounding and peace to its recipients.”

Webster says that it’s the brand’s mission of providing connection and fun through the hands-on experiences of creating, baking, and learning about traditions and celebrations from around the world that make Your Nest Life unique. “We are inspired by the magic and impact of celebrating, traditions, and the natural world,” she says. “We focus on using natural materials such as wood, glass, and wool in our projects, and looking at stories and traditions from around the world to share. We have highlighted Holi, told the Native American story of Miochin, and share Martinmas in our boxes this year. We are providing an experience that feels whole, grounded, and joyful.”

With the holiday season just around the corner, Your Nest Life is preparing to introduce a 3-box subscription for the gifting season. There is currently a regular subscription (that can be paused or cancelled at any time) and an option to purchase one box.

You can find Your Nest Life at The Beauty Boost’s Beers and Cheers event on December 3 at Sonder Brewing from 11am-2pm.
