Wonderland Playground

Take the littles out for an adventure at Cincinnati's newest indoor playground in Anderson.

While taking the kids out the playground is nice, there’s always that one kid taking off outside the boundaries of the playground itself, making a mad dash toward freedom. To give you a safe play to play with the littles is Wonderland Playground.

“Wonderland Playground is Cincinnati’s newest indoor playground located in Anderson, geared toward ages 1-8 and featured four different play areas,” explains Tyler Betts, whose family owns Wonderland Playground.

The Betts family found the inspiration to create a facility like Wonderland Playground after they saw a need for it int he area, especially an area that was dedicated to the littlest of the littles.

The Betts say when you visit Wonderland Playground, you can check in with your QR code that’s sent when you book online. This saves you time upon arrival and lets the little ones get to play right away. Waivers are signed, and no outside food or drink is permitted. According to the Betts family, only children need tickets, which comes with grip socks. Adults are also able to enter the play areas with socks as well.

The facility has four different play areas that the kids can choose from. There’s the Soft Play Area for children 36″ and under. “The Soft Play Area is bright, colorful, and clean,” adds Betts. Other play areas in Wonderland Playground include Climb & Slide, which is a three-level indoor play structure with more than 3,600 square feet with a variety of activities for kids including a four-person wave slide, donut slide, rainbow bridges, skybridge, lookouts, and more. Older children will enjoy the Ninja Course, which covers three lanes and nine obstacles. “The course has everything to challenge your warriors including a rolling balance beam, climbing wall, swinging steps, rings, and more,” they say.

The facility is also limited to 50 kids total, so parents can rest easy knowing that those who are playing won’t be overrun by a large number of visitors. “Play sessions are two hours long, and then the facility shuts down for an hour to clean in between sessions, including all play areas,” says Betts. “We also offer parties, full facility rental, and we have themed party packages and retail for a chance to shop local toys and gifts.”

Other amenities offered at Wonderland Playground include a nursing room, a cafe with snacks and beverages, and free wi-fi. “We want to give parents the chance to enjoy their time at Wonderland Playground as much as your children do,” adds Betts.

Betts says Wonderland Playground plans to expand to new locations in 2022, so keep an eye out for that. You can learn more about the indoor playground on their website or by following along on Instagram and Facebook.
