Davia Allen unexpectedly lost her sister in 2013. Her sister, she says, had a unique sense of fashion and was a major influencer. So, when Allen decided to open up a boutique of her own, she found inspiration from her sibling. Today she is the owner of Vidia’s Closet, a fashion-forward boutique carrying women’s apparel. “We inspire, empower, and motivate women through fashion, by offering unique, authentic pieces for all shapes and sizes,” says Allen.
Although her sister is no longer with her, she is here in spirit and her legacy carries on thanks to Allen and Vidia’s Closet.
Allen has worked as a managing cosmetologist for 28 years, and has added boutique owner to her resume with the opening of Vidia’s Closet. “I specialize in empowering and motivating women, with a mission not just to make you look good on the outside, but the inside as well,” she says. “I’m known for being a bold influencer with a unique sense of fashion. A successful businesswoman on the side, with a passion to change the game of fashion.”
When you shop Vidia’s Closet, you’ll find a variety of products. The store has its Couture Line, dresses, tops, bottoms, jogger sets, outerwear, shoes, accessories, its Curvy Girl line – all products that are unique and authentic.
Vidia’s Closet is currently in the process of relaunching its website, with sights on opening up a second location in addition to its current spot at 27 South St. Clair Street in Dayton. Allen says that she’s also working on launching a new clothing line at the end of 2022.
