Tillage Clothing Co.

Stay fashionable and comfortable while supporting an important cause with this brand created by a Cincinnati native.

Abby Farr has been a fan of fashion and style since she was a little girl, so it’s no wonder that now that she’s all grown up she is the founder of her own fashion company.

Farr is the founder and owner of Tillage Clothing Co., a sustainable clothing line created to design the most comfortable clothes without sacrificing style while also supporting a cause close to her heart.

“We want to be known as the leading clothing brand that gives back to fight human trafficking by bridging the gap between consumer and cause,” says Farr. “So whenever you shop Tillage, you help set captives free.”

The ultimate inspiration behind the brand comes from Farr’s grandmother. She was from Tennessee and had a casual yet chic wardrobe. “Her sense of style influenced mine, but I tended to add a little sportier flair,” she says. “All the while, I became aware of the cause of human trafficking in my mid-twenties and developed a passion to fight it. When the idea for Tillage was conceived, I knew immediately we would be invested in giving back to this fight.”

Farr runs the business herself. She hires contractors to help with weak spots and to keep projects moving forward effectively and efficiently. “I have a lot of energy, creativity, and some grit, which seems to help with all of the multi-tasking,” she says.

The product offered by Tillage is comfortable pants. The fabric the pants are made of is soft, like butter, so that you’re able to move more freely. Farr says they also offer a classic yet modern sense of style, which is why the pants have pleats and gatherings for a slimming look. The ankle buttons, she adds, add a bit of extra flair to elevate the naturally casual look.

Tillage Clothing uses a sustainable production process and is passionate about connecting the consumer with a cause that is heavy and hard to see or touch, yet allows them to be a part in helping to end the pandemic of human trafficking.
