Threads Boutique

Upgrade your wardrobe without the hefty price tag at this Oakley boutique.

A love for fashion inspired Nancy Anost and Kelley Sherman to go into business together. After putting pen to paper and bringing their vision to life, they opened Threads Boutique, a clothing and gift boutique in the heart of Oakley.

“Nancy and Kelley wanted to open a boutique where women of all ages could enter and feel welcome, and then leave feeling even more whole and with an entire outfit,” says Threads Boutique’s Social Media and Website Manager Emily.

In addition to the boutique’s founders and Emily, also on their team are stylists Lisa, Kelly, Amy, and Janet.

The name for the store, Threads, came from the idea of a common thread that binds us all. “Our common thread is found through conversation and relationship building, and we want to help the customers who walk through our doors to find their common thread, one of life’s great joys,” says Emily.

In an effort to take the stigma of sky-high prices out of boutique shopping, Threads Boutique provides women of all ages a place to shop in a friendly, helpful, and inspiring store. When you shop Threads Boutique, you’ll find unique clothing, handbags, jewelry, and gifts (some by local artists).

“We have everything you would expect to find in an upscale boutique, but at prices your wallet will love,” adds Emily.

Want to shop the store with your group of friends after hours? Book a private party at Threads Boutique. “We open our store up after-hours for private parties where you and a group of girlfriends can have the place to yourselves,” she says.

Threads Boutique recently launched a new website, where you’ll be able to shop online and get styling tips.

Threads Boutique is located at the Shops of Oakley, next to Aglamesis, Deeper Roots Coffee, and King Arthur’s Toy Store, at 3054 Madison Road.
