Thought Shifters

Melissa Kirkpatrick
We all get caught up in situations that bring negative energy. Our business & life coach offers a strategy for moving out of the negative and into the positive.

How often do you find yourself in a downward spiral? Those times when you can’t stop thinking about things that are triggering or upsetting. You see yourself continuing to build upon them, making them bigger than what you can manage.

The key is to find a way to shift your thoughts quickly, allowing you to move out of your current circumstance and situation and start aligning with a better feeling.

How this works is using a “thought shifter.”

These include considering things such as a memory that brings you joy, a vacation you took, or someone you enjoy being around.

Perhaps you can think of things that make you laugh out loud or future events you might be attending.

Or maybe putting on your favorite playlist and dancing around your kitchen feels good.

It’s those moments when you feel angry, frustrated, triggered, or upset that “thought shifters” will allow you to focus less on the problem and on new ways to change your focus toward a solution.

The law of attraction knows that you must feel good now for future circumstances to improve.

It only takes a minute or two to do this, and you owe it to yourself to change the negative frequency into a more positive frequency.

If you continue to avoid reaching for a better feeling, you will attract more of what you don’t want.

As a friendly reminder, don’t let anyone steal your joy! You have complete control of your situation through your thoughts.

Start by asking, “what thought could I have right now to feel better than I currently feel?” and do that.

Practice the thought shifters daily, and over time you will trust that out of any situation, good will come.

Keep Shining!
