We missed out on a lot of gathering in 2020, and being around those we love was something we missed the most.

In an effort to bring people back together, Lauren and Chris Robinson launched The Hive Co, a collection of service-based businesses that all focus on gathering people together.

“The inspiration [for The Hive Co] was a combination of both the original name for the photography side of things and when we truly found our inspiration of the want to bring people together,” says Robinson.

There are currently three different services available from The Hive Co: Gather – The Trailer & Mobile Bar Rental; Capture – Wild Bee Studio & Photography Studio; and Create – The Carpenter Bee that creates and designs unique gathering spaces.

The Trailer and mobile bar rental is a restored horse trailer that is designed to take your gathering to the next level. “We have carefully constructed it into a mobile bar fully equipped to serve and wow your guests,” The Hive Co website says. “We offer plenty of options, making it affordable and impressive at the same time.”

Wild Bee Studio is what originated The Hive Co and is what captures moments between family and friends. The Hive Co offers a variety of photography packages too it all needs and timeframes. “Whether you are looking to capture your little one’s first weeks, announce an engagement, or create that perfect family moment, Wild Bee Studios will help make memories that last,” the website says.

Then there’s The Carpenter Bee, which specializes in creating unique spaces and environments to gather with those you love. “We handle projects as big as space renovation, down to custom attention-grabbing wood accent pieces, all keeping in the spirit of bringing people together,” says The Hive Co website. “Your home should be a place where memories are made, and we are here to help make that happen.

Robinson says that what makes The Hive Co a unique business is that they offer so many different services, creative outlets, and gathering options.

“Our No. 1 passion and goal is bringing family and friends together, so any time we can incorporate that into our lives and the lives of others is a positive,” she says.

Robinson says that the next move for The Hive Co is a personal and professional move. “We just bought 10 acres about 4 miles from our current home,” she says. “This property will be the center of growth for The Carpenter Bee, allowing him to have a full-range wood shop, and The Worker Bee Trailer will finally have a place to call home.”
