With two Dayton-area locations, The Hair Barre is a luxury, full-service hair salon run by independent stylists. With a location in downtown Miamisburg and downtown Tipp City, The Hair Barre was founded by Hillary Ellingson. She opened the salon’s first location in Tipp City before deciding to expand to south Dayton.
“I love the way local communities are investing in downtowns,” says Ellingson. “Seeing the synergy amongst the businesses from bringing multiple clients into town daily was a huge driving force. People don’t just stop by the salon – they hit the boutiques, the cafe, the coffee shop, and more. Downtown is the place to be!”
The full-service hair salon offers a number of services, and each stylist brings their own specialty to the spaces. “From simple to complex styles, to texture services, extensions, and fully color analysis, we can find a stylist for you,” she says.
At The Hair Barre, you’ll find that each space is uniquely designed to bring a glamorous and modern energy, while also providing the picturesque views of each location’s downtown. Both locations are also within their respective city’s DORA boundaries, so you can enjoy an adult beverage while you’re receiving services. “Whether you’re coming in to get dolled up for a day or evening on the town, or unwinding after a day of work, The Hair Barre offers that beautifully relaxing experience,” says Ellingson.
Following the recent expansion to Miamisburg, Ellingson says the location is hiring talented independent stylists.
