Life can get pretty hectic, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have time for some good food! The Family Chef LLC is an in-home, weekly personal chef, and meal preparation service that ison a mission to fill the need of those who are too busy to cook homemade.

In addition to cooking up the food, The Family Chef also tailors’ meals to customer preferences, grocery shops, and comes to your home to prepare food, and store meals. The company is led by Executive Chef and Owner Rachael Willig.

“Our goal is to bring nutritious meals to your table, with no mess and no stress, to save you time to focus on your family, and other important things,” Willig says.

Willig has plenty of experience in the kitchen. After she graduated from the Midwest Culinary Institute in Cincinnati, she trained as a chef for six years at a local fine dining restaurant.

Willig then focused on broadening her culinary experience cooking across Europe. After moving back to the United States in 2019, Willig says she decided to pursue the culinary venture she always dreamt of, and The Family Chef LLC was born.

Although the Family Chef LLC serves NFL athletes, singles, elderly couples, and anyone who’s hungry, it is no surprise that one of its core values is family.

“We value families sitting down at the dinner table and sharing a meal together. We value nutrition by providing healthy meals.” Willig says. “To us, our clients are like family and we wish to provide them with the same quality and care we give our own families when cooking for them.”

One of the things that makes the Christian company unique is its ability to cater to the likes of its customers. With everything from fine dining to homemade free-range chicken fingers for the kids, the chefs can do it all.

To ensure that customers get the best meals, chefs often collaborate on menus. Inspiration for the cuisine is drawn from in-season produce, cookbooks, magazines, and blogs, but the recipes are usually tweaked to create an amazing product. “As culinary artists, we use our professional knowledge and international training to dream up and create colorful and healthy cuisine.” Willig says “This is one of the best parts of being a Chef!”

The Family Chef is currently expanding by bringing in a new personal chef to serve more clients in the Tri-State area. Willig says the company is looking forward to launching some exciting projects for 2022.
