The Exercise Coach

Improve your fitness with this artificial intelligence-designed workout that will tackle weight training and cardio.

The Exercise Coach is a health phenomenon that started back in 2000. In the 21 years since its inception, it’s spread to more than 120 studios nationwide.

Rather than the traditional workouts with weights and cardio exercises, The Exercise Coach relies on artificial intelligence and robotics.

“The machines actually adjusts a person’s workout to an individual’s strengths and weaknesses in real time, thereby helping the person get the most out of their workout and avoid injury,” explains Halley Cowden, Owner of The Exercise Coach in Cincinnati. “Additionally, the machines automatically make the exercise harder as a person gets stronger, so there is never a plateau and the person is competing against him or herself.”

The state-of-the-art technology used at The Exercise Coach offers a unique, comprehensive approach to fitness and is suitable for anyone at any fitness level, according to Cowden.

Cowden says that she became interested in owning an Exercise Coach studio after utilizing the workout and seeing changes in her own health and fitness.

“I am so thankful to share an innovative, progressive approach to fitness,” she says. “Before The Exercise Coach, I worked out 5 hours a week and could not lose a pound – because every minute was cardio. After The Exercise Coach, my body composition improved, and I am down 2 sizes and 15 pounds. I love the science behind what we do.”

The Exercise Coach offers private and semi-private personal training sessions, with no more than 4 people per trainer in semi-private sessions. Because of the equipment used at The Exercise Coach, there is no waiting to use equipment that other people are using, allowing you to use every minute of your session.

Cowden says that what makes The Exercise Coach different from big box gyms is that they provide their clients with individual attention and they use bio-adaptive, artificial intelligence-enabled proprietary equipment.

“Because our workouts are customized to each person, patrons neither waste their time or hurt themselves doing movements that are unsafe or ineffective for them,” says Cowden. “Therefore, our clients are able to get full-body workouts in just two 20-minute sessions per week.”

The Exercise Coach is located at 2701 Observatory Avenue in Cincinnati. Cowden says there are plans to open another location on the east side of Cincinnati by the end of 2023.
