Fashion for the Cure

The annual fashion show by students at a local high school is back to raise funds for The Dragonfly Foundation.

Fashion for the Cure is back February 18. The student-managed fashion show features works created by Sycamore High School students to support The Dragonfly Foundation.

The show provides students from Sycamore High School to share their creativity with the public, and showcases student-made designs as well as various fashions from local retailers, a basket raffle, silent auction, and dragonfly kids.

The Dragonfly Foundation, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit, supports pediatric cancer patients with strength, courage, and joy. The show will feature Dragonfly kids on the runway, and they will wear t-shirts they have designed alongside the high school fashion students.

Local retailers participating in the show include Bridal and Formal, Folchi’s Tuxedos & Menswear, and Alley Boutique.

“Fashion for the Cure has taught me the importance of being a part of something bigger than myself,” says Hannah Peri. “When you see the Dragonflies on the stage having a blast, you know all your hard work was worth it.”

Fashion for the Cure is February 18th. You can purchase tickets or find more details here.
