After a much-anticipated return, the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra’s Summermusik festival is back August 6-27. The return of the festival includes its full, indoor format enjoyed in previous years with three difference concert experiences all designed to cater to the community’s different musical tastes.
The three experiences for Summermusik include full chamber orchestra performances at the School for Creative and Performing Arts on Saturday events, A Little Afternoon Musik concerts on Sunday afternoons, and the Chamber Crawl concerts on weeknights.
The Chamber Crawl concerts were created to bring fun and interactive music series to popular bars and other unique venues throughout the Tri-State. The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra says that some of these venues include New Riff Distillery, Fretboard Brewing, and the Newport Aquarium.
“Enjoy orchestral music in an intermit setting with appearances by internationally acclaimed guest artists and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra’s very own musicians,” the Orchestra says.
Tickets for these events start at $35 for adults and $10 for children and students. To learn more about the series and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, visit https://www.ccocincinnati.org/summermusik/.
