Spring Bungee Fitness

A new kind of workout is making easier on your body but still allowing you to reap the rewards of exercise.

Northern Kentucky got a bounce to it with the opening of Spring Bungee Fitness, a fitness studio that serves the surrounding area.

“We offer bungee-assisted fitness classes that provide low-impact, high-reward workouts,” explains Spring Bungee Fitness Owner Alyssa Davis. “Our bungee workout lets you forget gravity and instead focus on moving.”

Bungees rescue joint stress, so your bones will appreciate the low-impact of workouts at Spring Bungee Fitness.

Davis says she was inspired to open Spring Bungee Fitness as a way to offer a safe, inclusive, and fun way to workout. “These classes offer a low-impact, high-reward option for all fitness levels,” she says. “We want everyone to feel welcome and encouraged to try something new. Our hope is that everyone leaves our classes feeling empowered and happy while enjoying the benefits that accompany exercise.”

Davis has plenty of experience in the fitness industry, as she grew up doing competitive dance and holds a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. So not only can Davis perform the workouts offered at Spring Bungee Fitness but she has the knowledge to create safe and effective programming for individuals from all types of fitness backgrounds.

Currently, Spring Bungee Fitness offers cardio-based, dance-inspired classes for a variety of fitness levels. The studio is also working on programming to offer boot camp/strength training classes to provide the opportunity for cross-training and other class variety.

Davis says that what makes Spring Bungee Fitness unique is that it takes exercise and makes it fun. “The weightless feeling accomplished by the bungee system allows for a low-impact options while still offering a high-reward, high-energy class,” she says. “the assistance and resistance provided by the bungee cords help you complete moves you’ve never done or previously struggled with while simultaneously strengthening your musculoskeletal system.”

Classes from Spring Bungee Fitness are always changing and Davis is looking forward to the new year for her studio. “We are working on offering different classes besides our cardio-based ones to increase the potential for cross-training and offer a variety of workout options,” she adds.
