A boutique fitness studio is helping you reach your health and fitness goals in the new year.

Looking to build a healthier, more physically fit you in the new year? If so, Space Three is the place to be.

“Space Three is a boutique fitness studio located in downtown Dayton,” explains Space Three Founder Lindsey Deck. “We currently offer a variety of group fitness options including barre, TRX, bootcamp, dance cardio, and pilates.”

The inspiration behind Space Three comes from the idea that good things come in threes. “You have your home, you have your work, and now you have Space Three,” says Deck. “Space for your mind, body, and soul. Space to breathe, sweat, and stretch.”

Deck is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, attorney, and, now, a small business owner.

“After falling in love with a studio in St. Paul, Minnesota, during my law school days, I always dreamed of opening my own studio,” she says. “In 2019, that dream came true.”

At Space Three, you’ll find a variety of classes available including the following:

BootyBarre – This is an energetic fusion of dance, pilates, and yoga that tones the entire body from traps to torso to toes. Booty Barre is designed for people of all fitness levels; your instructor leads you through bodyweight and free-weight exercises – both on and off the ballet barre – while upbeat music keeps you motivated. This workout is perfect for people who love the stretch of a yoga class, the strength of a pilates regimen, and the energy of a dance routine.

SWERK – This is a hip-hop dance fitness class for people of all ages, body types, and fitness levels. Zero dance experience is needed – your instructor makes it easy for you to get your groove on while you have a blast int his high-intensity, cardio-focused workout. SWERK is perfect for people who want to tone up their gluten and increase flexibility while having a blast and polishing their dance moves. Come ready to work and leave feeling like Beyoncé.

TRX – Unlike any workout you’ve ever tried, TRX – Total Body Resistance Exercise – is a suspension training workout that meets you where you are; adjust the position of your hands and feet in the TRX bands to make the workout more challenging or more forgiving based on your comfort level. TRX is perfect for people who want to get stronger, leaner, and more flexible while engaging in exercise that’s more invigorating than stationary machines and free weights.

Bootybarre BOUNCE – A full body work-out designed to tone your body, increase circulation, balance, and endurance. bootybarre BOUNCE is instructed on Jump Sport trampolines with a ballet barre attached to activate the lower body and core for stability. A true fusion of pilates, dance, yoga, and cardio now available on the trampoline.

TRX Suspension – Experience a whole new class utilizing the TRX suspension system with modifications that flow together with dynamic movement and cardio intervals. This class moves to the beat and integrates pilates, dance, and yoga moves seamlessly together.

Bootcamp – A high intensity bootcamp style class using various tools including slam balls, kettlebells, resistance bands and the TRX suspension trainers. We will work on endurance as well as strength exercises.

JAM – The JAM is a workout where every movement and breath is intentional incorporating cardio, strength, and yoga for a full body 60 minute sweat session set to the beat of the music using inspirational playlists curated to reinvigorate your soul. You’ll be challenged to slow down as well as to push through your comfort zone.

Bootymix – Bootymix is a high intensity, hip-hop dance fitness class that gives you the courage to move your body your way and feel comfortable in your own skin. It’s a sweat drenching, booty poppin’, soul quenching dance party that you never knew you needed.

The goal at Space Three is to not only give clients a place where they can work on their health and wellness, but to also offer something that is far from your ordinary gym.

“You’re far from boring – why should your workout be? Keep your routine fresh with just one membership,” says Deck. “Space Three offers a variety of classes so you can stick to what you love or spice things up when you need a change.”

Space Three is looking forward to 2022 and continuing to serve clients and add new classes. Most recently, Space Three added pilates to class offerings. “We’re super excited for the new offering and the new instructor,” adds Deck.

Space Three is located at 39 S. St. Clair Street in the St. Clair Lofts in downtown Dayton.
