redBERRY

Give your taste buds a delightful experienced at this Troy breakfast, lunch, and brunch spot.

Looking to try a new breakfast, lunch, or brunch spot? Head up to Troy to take a bite out of redBERRY, a relaxed and welcoming establishment offering up the tastiest breakfast, lunch, and brunch restaurant.

The inspiration for redBERRY came about when its owners Scott Earhart, Mike Earhart, and Frank Harlow wanted to offer something the community needed. “We’re not a chain restaurant or the same kind of restaurant that’s been done a hundred times before,” says Lisa Sargent, redBERRY’s marketing manager.

The founding principles behind redBERRY are simple: to provide a welcoming environment that’s clean, relaxed, and comfortable, to serve classic food with a few unexpected twists, and to serve their dishes better than anyone else in the area.

“We really pride ourselves on the presentation of our food and the overall experience you get when you come to redBERRY,” says Sargent.

The menu at redBERRY has plenty of options for every brunch lover and includes dishes like omelettes, pancakes, French toast, and biscuits and gravy. It also serves up lunch classics like a BLT, burgers, salads, and soup. Some of the more unique, unexpected items on the menu are the PBBB&J (peanut butter, banana, bacon, and jelly) sandwich, avocado toast, and the Pancake Board (their version of a breakfast charcuterie).

redBERRY, run by General Manager Mykie Thompson and Head Chef Patrick Thompson (a husband-and-wife team), brings an experience unlike any other in the area.

“The interior design, the plating of the food, and the overall almost-here at redBERRY is really unique for our area,” says Sargent. “In addition, we opened our doors just a few months after the start of the pandemic, and we are so proud that the food and experience people receive at redBERRY allowed us to succeed during a very trying time for a new small business.”

As they look to the future of redBERRY, Sargent says they want to give additional focus to their private party space. “We rent the restaurant (part of it or the whole thing) to private parties for events after our normal business hours,” she says. “redBERRY is a great place to celebrate a new baby, an engagement, or a special birthday.”

redBERRY is located in the Sherwood Shopping Center at 914 North Market Street in Troy. Their operating hours are 6:30am to 2:00pm Tuesday through Sunday.
