A busy life means that you don’t always have time to plan, cook, and eat a healthy meal. That’s where Picnk comes in.
“Picnk is a meal prep company in Dayton offering made-from-scratch, ready-to-eat meals that are individually packages for your customized culinary experience,” explains CEO Will Foster.
The inspiration behind Picnk comes from Foster’s experience as a person trainer who often found that his clients were asking about meals for their nutrition programs. He says the questions sparked the idea for a meal prep business and he and a friend who’s a chef decided to collaborate.
“Picnk soon grew beyond my clients and now we serve not just the fitness industry but anyone looking to eat well and have a convenient options throughout their busy week,” he says.
The menu from Picnk features breakfast, lunch, and dinner options in addition to snacks, soups, desserts, and even kid’s meal prep options for busy parents.
“Picnk cycles in regular specials and adjusts seasonally, but otherwise we have a pretty consistent offering of over 50 different items,” says Foster.
All of the meals from Picnk come as pictured, so all you have to do is heat them up throughout the week. “In a few simple clicks you can have fresh meals in your fridge for your busy week,” says Foster. “Our prices are affordable and we cater to a wide variety of dietary needs.”
Aside from offering busy families healthy meal options, Picnk is also #daytoninspiredfood and aims to build aspects of the local culinary scene into their men. “For example, we use a local sauce for our taco bowl and you can find other aspects of the culinary community int our menu,” he says. “At Picnk we are very driven by community, whether it’s supporting other local companies, lending a hand to non-profits, or making sure we are always providing our customers with a high-quality experience.”
Currently Picnk is finalizing plans to expand their delivery range and update the menu with new items.
Picnk is located at 4242 Clyo Road in Bellbrook, and utilizes the kitchen at 5 Seasons Sports Club.
