Andrea Kern has dreamed owning a store since she started out in retail at age 16. Fashion has always been a big part of her life and a passion she decided to turn into a career when she opened Nusa Boutique, an online women’s clothing, jewelry, and accessories boutique.
“The store was born from the realization that it is so hard to find carefully curated styles – especially styles that reflect a unique cool/chic vibe – at affordable prices without being overwhelmed by huge e-commerce sites,” she says. “I personally struggled with this for years and thought, ‘If I have such a hard time finding what I am looking for, others must too, so let’s make this happen but let’s also make it easy, affordable, and unique.'”
When you shop Nusa Boutique you’ll find a curated collection of clothing, jewelry, and accessories for under $75. Kern says that the items in the store have a cool, chic, costal vibe.
In addition to the affordability of pieces offered by Nusa Boutique, Kern says that it’s the quality of the items that makes it stand out as well. “I want you to have pieces that you feel absolutely confident wearing, and that you’ll wear over and over again, and leave others asking, ‘Where did you get that?'”
In the months to come, Kern says she wants to work toward creating a refined and refreshed rebranding of the store. She wants to maintain a focus on a sophisticated, worldly, coastal chic vibe that’s inspired by travel and fashion in cities all over the world.
Although Nusa Boutique is an online boutique, Kern does offer local pop-up shops as well as private shopping parties.
