Covington is preparing for a new fitness studio to come to town. Neighborhood Barre Covington will open its doors in October and Studio Owner Rikki Puckett says the studio is far from your average barre class.
“Our method was created with you in mind,” she says. “We know your story, we know what you want our of your workout, and we are committed to creating results driven classes that are fun, inviting, and truly change your body and your body image.”
At Neighborhood Barre, Puckett says that you’ll never feel out of place, bored, or overwhelmed. “There are no plateaus, and no such thing as needing to ‘be in shape’ before trying a class,” she says. “Our classes are designed to meet you where you are – and we can’t wait to meet you.”
Puckett says her own journey with Neighborhood Barre started back in 2012 when she took a class at the first studio in Knoxville while she was a student at the University of Tennessee. Since then, her love for barre has only grown and is proud to bring a new barre experience to the Tri-State.
When Neighborhood Barre Covington opens in October they will offer the class barre50, which is a 50-minute, full body workout as well as a yoga class. She says they also plan to add a barre30 and HIIT class to the schedule after their opening.
Puckett says that the classes are Neighborhood Barre are truly for those at all fitness levels. “Every class offers modifications and advancements/challenges,” she says. “Choreography is different every day so you never have to take the same class twice.”
The classes at Neighborhood Barre offers optional full range/full body progressions, so that a client can increase their heart rate and have more cardio if they desire. Or, for those who want to stick to true barre classes, they can focus on the isometrics of the movements.
Founding memberships are currently available at Neighborhood Barre and can be purchased for $99 per month.
Puckett says that they will be participating in a pop-up at 21c on September 25 at 10am with Sound Off Cincinnati. And the opening of Neighborhood Barre is scheduled for early October.
Neighborhood Barre Covington will be located in the heart of the Mainstrasse Village in Covington on the bottom floor of the John R Green Building at 427 W 6th Street.
