The craft beer scene has taken over and isn’t going anywhere. Contributing its own unique beverages to the community is Moeller Brew Barn.
The Ohio-based brewery has two operating taprooms with another work currently in the works. Moeller Brew Barn distributes to 35 counties in the state, offering a fresh, local, craft beer experience to those in western Ohio.
According to Moeller Brew Barn Creative Director Jess Nielsen, the brewery was founded in Maria Stein in 2015 by Nick Moeller. “Nick partnered with Anthony Scott in 2018 to start construction of the Brew Barn’s second location in Troy, a building that originally housed the First Lutheran Church in 1870,” she said.
The menu at Moeller Brew Barn includes over 30 craft beers on tap at all times as well as a combination of brick-oven pizzas, salads, soups, and handhelds. “We’re proud to bring fresh local craft beer and hearty, handmade eats to the region,” adds Nielsen.
As the brand has grown in popularity in this part of the state, Moeller Brew Barn is working on opening a third taproom and brewery location in downtown Dayton’s Water Street District – across the street from the Day Air Ballpark.
