We’re busier than ever, and in a world where it doesn’t always feel like we have the time to slow down and treat ourselves, Oasis Face Bar aims to cater to the lives we lead now.
“We wanted to shake up the typical spa experience or, as we like to say, we’ve taken the fluff out of the facial,” says Oasis Face Bar Cincinnati owner Amy Fulton. “Sleepy spa music, cucumber water and a 90-minute facial make us, well, sleepy. We were created to provide an affordable skincare option that fits your busy lifestyle.”
That’s why at Oasis Face Bar, you’ll find an open-concept spa focused on customizable, targeted facials delivered in 30 minutes. To do so, the team uses an arsenal of non-invasive equipment, all-natural products and cutting-edge techniques to lift, sculpt, brighten and clear the skin. Fulton says the spa even offers waxes and tints to keep you looking and feeling your best.
Oasis Face Bar was founded by Molly Bower in Columbus in 2018. Since then, she’s opened a second location, in Over-the-Rhine at 1345 Walnut St., and has started franchising the concept. There are now 10 locations of Oasis Face Bar, with more to come, and a growing network of women entrepreneurs from all walks of life.
When it comes to the OTR location, Fulton says she took over the space in August 2022. “After a 20-year career in corporate retail buying, I hit a moment of burnout and it was time for a change,” she says. “I had always dreamed of having my own business and while searching for a solution the idea of Oasis kept coming back to me. I had not only loved my experience as a client, but I had also seen the business thrive during a global pandemic.”
Oasis Face Bar primarily offers facials at its brick-and-mortar spa, with its core business based on 30-minute targeted treatment facials. There are six facials to choose from, including a facial for men, and 12 add-on services to help customize your experience.
“We also offer HydraFacial MD, a specialized treatment that improves skin health, addresses individual concerns and creates a glow like no other,” says Fulton. The facial is performed using a device to help penetrate deeper and provide longer-lasting results. It also comes in three price tiers so you can choose the option that best fits your budget.
Other services available include eyebrow, lip and chin waxing; eyebrow and lash tinting; and eyebrow lamination.
