Amy Gantt wants to help put a smile on your soul and a sparkle in your heart. That’s the motto behind her whimsical art and cards from Lula Bell Whimsical Cards and Gifts.
“We create whimsical greeting cards and note cards with unique designs made by myself,” she says. “Every card is then hand glittered by our ‘Glitter Gals’ for that extra special touch. We believe through cards we can make special connections with family and friends. It’s important to celebrate the little moments and the big occasions.”
Gantt says she was inspired to launch Lula Bell as a way to bring people together, create memories, and share joy. “A simple card in the mail can brighten someone’s day and make a difference in the world,” she adds.
Gantt’s journey to creating Lula Bell started more than 17 years ago when she was a therapist for kids in crisis. “When I decided to stay home and raise my kids, I wanted to do more with my art,” says Gantt. “I believe that through art I could make a positive impact in the world. The whimsical art is a ‘smile for your soul.'”
Now Gantt, alongside her daughter Ali, create the cards and gifts available from Lula Bell.
You can find Lula Bell Whimsical Cards and Gifts in Oakwood. Gantt describes it as an escape into a world all things cute and whimsical. “Inside you will find cards and gifts that reflect the ‘smile for your soul and sparkle in your heart theme,” she says.
All of the items found at Lula Bell are made in the shop. They’re designed by the artist, printed, hand glittered, and packaged in the back room. The cards are sold in the shop, online at LulaBellShop.com, and in shops throughout the country.
Gantt says that she will soon be bringing back art classes to Lula Bell. You can see a list of upcoming events on the shop’s website.
