Want to shop local while still enjoying the convenience of buying online? Style and Grace Consignments may be the store for you.
“Style and Grace Consignments is a one-stop consignment shop that offers both new and lovingly used items for the entire family,” says Tanya Grace, owner of Style and Grace Consignments at styleandgraceconsignment.com. “I have an online business, but I make pop-up appearances at various locations throughout the city.”
Grace’s online consignment shop offers a variety of different clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children. Her favorite item, and the most popular product she sells, is the fedora. “My clients love the fedoras and use them to express themselves in the most fun and creative ways,” she says.
Grace, who always wanted to own her own store, started Style and Grace after getting through a difficult year.
“After being separated from Cincinnati Bell Telephone after 17 years and out of work for over a year, I decided to launch my business,” Grace says.
When Grace opened the store in July of 2015, she was selling her own items. “I expanded by soliciting family and friends for their lovingly used and new items they no longer had a need for,” Grace says. “I used my social media platforms to advertise and sell items until I was able to launch my website.”
As for the store’s name, Grace says, “I’ve always been complimented on my sense of style and grace being my last name, it just seemed to work.”
Grace’s vision for the future is “to continue the online store, but also offer a mobile shopping experience. I’d also like to do more style consulting.”
Her goal is to provide excellent service in the resale domain. “We strive to provide efficient and friendly service to our consigners in the pursuit of selling and to our shoppers in the quest for items that will enhance their wardrobes at value pricing,” she says.
