The inspiration for Aclipse Campervans came from a passion for the environment. Bruns, alongside her best friend and business partner Sofia Mimendi, know that people benefit from spending time outdoors, so they wanted to help make the outdoors more accessible.
“We are driven by helping people have adventures and making memories, bringing them closer together and closer to nature,” says Bruns.
The dynamic duo behind Aclipse Campervans came together at the right time, in the right place.
“We were both looking for a new challenge,” says Bruns. “Sofia has the business knowledge and experience, and I am the creative side. Neither of us had experience starting a business but both of us wanted to learn. We both love to travel and believe life is about experiences and sharing memories. When we started with one van, as a side hustle, we thought, worst case scenario, we have an awesome van to us.”
That worst case scenario has since turned into a booming business for Bruns and Mimendi.
When you stay in an Aclipse Campervan, you’ll have all you need for a successful camping trip. “All camper vans come equipped with camping essentials, a 4-5″ foam mattress, storage, solar power, and 200 miles per night,” says Bruns.
Aclipse Campervans strives to provide their customers with dedicated service that will help make their trip enjoyable. “We know that people are trusting us with their vacations, their time,” says Bruns. “Time is a person’s most precious resource. We do not take this responsibility lightly. We want their trip the the best it possibly can.”
Bruns says she and Mimendi are looking forward to the continued growth of Aclipse Campervans. “It has been an amazing adventure and we are super grateful for what we have done so far,” adds Bruns.
Customers can pick up their Aclipse Campervan at their location in Cincinnati, or take delivery inside Cincinnati’s I-275 Loop and the airport.
