Lady Lush Floral

A local entrepreneur with a passion for creating beautiful pieces of art has found her love in dried flowers. Keep reading to learn more.

Hannah Clark is a mid-twenty-something with a passion for creating beautiful things. Today she is the owner of Lady Lush Floral, a small business that crafts one-of-a-kind, dried floral decor.

“We use dried and preserved flowers to create everlasting pieces for your forever home,” says Clark.

The inspiration for Lady Lush Floral comes from a deep love of lush, green nature.

“I am a huge lover of the outdoors and everything Mother Earth,” says Clark. “It was only recently that I discovered dried flowers and the creative power they possess. As much as I love fresh flowers, there is something about a dried piece that truly strikes a chord with me. It’s a different energy. A mood.”

Currently, Clark resides in Oakwood where she works a full-time job and runs Lady Lush Floral in her spare time. Clark’s love for creating has never wavered, although it did take her sometime to find a medium that felt right for her – and when she found dried flowers she knew that was the one.

All of the items offered by Lady Lush Floral are designed, created, packaged, and shipped from Clark’s spare bedroom. She’s also the head lady in charge of Lady Lush Floral’s social media pages.

Lady Lush Floral offers dried wreaths, bouquets, and arrangements. Currently, the biggest seller for the shop is dried wreaths, which come in two different sizes. The 10-inch hoop is $35 and the 14-inch hoop is $45. The mini bouquets are $25-$35 and the large bouquets are $65-$75. Arrangements offered by Lady Lush Floral are anywhere from $20-$150, but depend on the size of the vessel.

“Right now our city is brimming with so many incredible florists who do wonderful things with fresh flowers,” says Clark. “I want to be the dried florist of Dayton. People are starting to see the beauty and value of dried flowers more and more – I want to bring that beauty and vision to life – an everlasting life.”
