Overcome your fears and pursue your life's passion with these online-based yoga classes.

When Anastassiya Gainey opened Instinct Yoga, she knew that she wanted to offer an online yoga platform with a three-step mission: healing through taking control of fears, identifying one’s superpower (or unique talents and passions), and finding the courage to follow one’s passion.

Gainey knew that she wanted to help transform lives through the power of yoga, and using the practice as a tool for deepening knowledge would ultimately help her clients in their pursuit of living a healthier and happier life. Creating Instinct Yoga also allowed Gainey to see that she isn’t alone in facing the challenge of living a genuinely fulfilling and happy life while also making a difference in the lives of those around her.

“It is not a question of whether one has a special gift, talent, or passion, as it is a resounding yes,” says Gainey. “We carry our unique talents that are the essence of us just like we carry the unique physicality in the form known as DNA. It is a question fo whether one is willing to quiet the fears shielding and clouding the way to what we so enjoyed in childhood, what we only make time for one the weekend as adults, or what we are afraid to declare to society because we are expected to be someone or something else, yet someone or something we are not.”

Instinct Yoga wants to help you rid those fears and find your true passion and calling in life. “We are about finding that inner knowledge that only you can hear through eliminating fear – the underlying emotion of anxiety, shame, guilt, frustration, negative self-talk, and more – and finding courage to allow yourself freedom to follow what your heart desires,” she says.

The team at Instinct Yoga is small, but mighty. Gainey is the founder and is also a yoga practitioner, certified teacher, and a certified public accountant. In addition to all of this, is she also a mother. Also on the team is Avneet, the marketing strategist for Instinct Yoga, and who is involved developing branding and marketing techniques. She handles creating graphics, editing videos, and implementing strategies to engage followers of Instinct Yoga.

There are a number of classes offered through Instinct Yoga. The main focus of the studio is its virtual concept, where they have a YouTube channel to allow followers to find in mindfulness and yoga when they have the time. Additionally, courses will soon be available for purchase that will help deepen the understanding of yoga. While online classes are the main platform at Instinct Yoga, there are some in-person classes available for private and group sessions.

Gainey says that what makes Instinct Yoga unique is its efforts focused on identifying clients’ unique talents while also aiming to improve their quality of life using yoga as a tool.

As for the future of Instinct Yoga, Gainey says they will soon launch a new series called “The Fundamental Yoga Poses” to help showcase the anatomical aspect of each pose. “This knowledge can be utilized to also practice yoga at home at one’s own pace, thereby allowing deeper learning of one’s body at their own pace and bringing more authenticity to the practice,” says Gainey. “Additionally, the Fundamental Yoga Poses Series will have plenty of variations for any pose anyone can implement due to any restrictions, injuries, and simply for exploration purposes.”

In-person classes through Instinct Yoga are held at Hi Fi Yoga Studio in Mason. To learn more about Instinct Yoga, visit Instinct Yoga on Instagram and YouTube.

“We will have meditations, lifestyle videos, motivational content, and, of course, yoga,” says Gainey. “We want you to live your passions out and equip you with the tools you need to flourish.”
