Insomnia Cookies

Take a bite out of this sweet treat on your next late night.

Grabbing a slice or two of pizza after a late night isn’t uncommon, but how about grabbing a sweet treat? Insomnia Cookies is a late-night bakery concept that’s revolutionizing the cookie game.

“Insomnia Cookies offers a wide variety of delicious cookies, ice cream, and other sweet treats in-store, for local delivery, and through nationwide shipping,” the brand says.

Founded in 2003 by Seth Berkowitz, Insomnia Cookies aim to satisfy your sweet tooth while also pushing the bakery industry to new limits.

Currently, Cincinnati has two locations of Insomnia Cookies – downtown and across from the University of Cincinnati.

The menu at Insomnia Cookies features limited-edition lineups on a rotation while the late-night bakery offers a regular menu year-round. “From the classic Chocolate Chunk Cookie to favorites like Snickerdoodle and Confetti Deluxe, a full slate of vegan options and ice cream to top them off, Insomnia has about 30-50 customizable offerings available at any given time to satisfy every sweet tooth – warm or cold,” says Insomnia Cookies.

It’s not just the late-night hours that makes Insomnia Cookies unique. It’s also the brand’s motto of warm, delicious, and delivered. ‘Insomnia prides itself on being able to meet its customers where they are so that they can create connections over cookies,” Insomnia says.

The brand continues to grow nationally, opening its doors in new locations. In addition to new locations, Insomnia is also growing internally as well. In July, it launched its own ice cream line called Cookies IN Ice Cream, including at the Cincinnati location. “The ice cream melds Insomnia’s gooey signature cookies into America’s favorite dessert,” says the brand. “Flavors include Dreamweaver, which combines thick Double Chocolate Chunk cookies with creamy purple s’mores ice cream, Caramaellionaire, which folds decadent Deluxe Salted Caramel cookies into filthy rich salted caramel ice cream, and many more like Cookies ‘N Dream, Cookie Dough, Minterstellar, and of course classic vanilla and chocolate.”

You can find Insomnia Cookies at 1126 Main Street in the Central Business District and 216 Calhoun Street. Both locations are open and deliver until midnight Sunday through Wednesday and until 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
