Mental health is becoming less stigmatized, and many are taking their mental health into their own hands and putting it at the top of their self-care list. To help with this is Hello Mental Health, a compassionate mental health practice.

“Every person on our team has loads of skill and even more heart,” says Dr. Bailey C. Bryant, a licensed clinical psychologist and self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur. “We all chose to enter this field because it is our calling and we feel lucky to be able to help people for a living.”

Bryant says she was inspired to open Hello Mental Health to deliver great care to patients. “Being surrounded by phenomenal humans lights me up and something magical happens when you get multiple extraordinary people in a room together and give them the space and resources to do their best work.”

Hello Mental Health opened its doors in 2016, following Bryant’s loss of interested in her previous job with an agency. While there were things she enjoyed about agency life, she felt there was something bigger and better that was meant to be part of her journey. Now, through Hello Mental Health, she has set a goal for herself to provide an environment that her team could thrive in.

“Truly, the whole has become greater than the sum of its parts and we continue to grow in ways I never anticipated,” she adds.

You’ll find that Hello Mental Health offers a variety of services, including individual therapy for adolescents and dults, couples therapy, group therapy, and Hello Circles coaching groups. “Our clinicians each have different specialty areas including treatment for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, substance use, eating disorders, relationship issues, multicultural issues, and men’s and women’s issues,” she says. “We are an open and inclusive practice and welcome all people to explore our services.”

Hello Circles is a unique concept created by Bailey and the team at Hello Mental Health that works to solve three major issues facing the community: a lack of mental health providers, the high cost of mental health services, and feelings of isolation. “Hello Circles are coaching groups facilitated by licensed mental health profssionals who offer psychoeducation and skills to navigate life circumstances,” says Bryant. “Meeting in a small group allows our providers to work with multiple people simultaneously so that more people can receive services at one time, which reduces cost to our clients.”

Additionally, Bryant says that when people are able to share their stories with others and also listen to the storise of others, the group format allows participants to gain support and knowledge from not only the facilitators but from other group members as well. “It’s an incredible opportunity for connection around shared life experiences,” she says. “We are always developing new programming and currently have circles for mental health therapists, working moms, stressed college students, and people with chronic pain.”

Not only is Hello Mental Health providing mental health services to members of the community, but Bailey also offers business coaching for small, private practice owners who are launching or scaling their practices.

Ultimately, Bryant says that what makes Hello Mental Health unique is the way the team leads with their hearts and values humans above everything else. While the practice is a business it’s main focus is to operate in a way that prioritizes staff’s wellbeing and clients’ progress over the bottom line.

Hello Mental Health is currently working on corporate partnerships to expand its reach in Greater Cincinnati. “We are passionate about reducing stigma and improving workplace mental health and there’s no better place to address it than in the office,” says Bryant. “We are developing customizable wellness programming and will host specialized Hello Circles to meet the needs of each specific work environment.”

You can also keep your eyes out for Hello Mental Health to launch assessment services focused on diagnostic clarification. “We have highly skilled psychologists who will provide psychological testing for clients who have struggled to receive an accurate diagnosis,” she adds.
