When Ginny Krone picks up a piece of word, she’s able to turn it into a usable piece of art. Through her Cincinnati-based online store Groove & Knot Co., Krone is a craft woodworker offering hardwood cutting boards, serving platters, coaster sets, and keychains.
“I take my creative inspiration from the different woods I use,” she says. “Each cut I make will reveal a different grain pattern or an unexpected know that will ultimately influence my product design.”
Because of the uniqueness that each piece of word inspires, there are no two pieces that are the same from Groove & Knot Co. When it comes to the pieces she creates, Krone is committed to providing her customers with high-quality products that are finished with extreme care.
All of the products created by Krone for Groove & Knot Co. are built with thoughtfulness and also work to incorporate the unique characteristics of the wood.
She offers stock inventory, and shares it with followers when it’s available, and also accepts custom orders throughout the year.
Currently, Krone does not have a storefront for Groove & Knot Co., however she says she’s looking forward to partnering with local businesses and getting her products into a few select stores by the fall.
