Dished!

Eat the healthy way with meal-prep and meal kit options from this local kitchen.

If given the choice, there are a lot of people who would choose to eat healthier. However, with busy lives and schedules, it isn’t always easy to cook a healthy meal throughout the day – whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

To help you focus on eating healthy is Dished! Dished! is a meal-prep services offering health-focused food for a sustainable lifestyle.

“What does that mean? We don’t believe in fad or restrictive diets,” says Dished! Founder Katie Easton. “We focus on making eating healthy convenient and something you want to do.”

Easton says she was inspired to launch her own meal-prep business after her own struggles with planning out her meals ahead of time.

“I have found that failure to plan is planning to fail,” she says. “The same goes for my nutrition. If I don’t meal plan and prep, it ends up being a free for all, and that often takes me down a pretty unhealthy path.”

Easton was furloughed from her career int he hotel events industry due to COVID, and that’s when she decided to take her meal prepping to the next level. As she was making meals for her family, she began sharing those dishes on social media and before long friends and family were asking for her to prep their meals.

The menu at Dished! changes every Friday and includes ready-to-eat entrees, salads, snacks, and meal kids. They also often gluten- and dairy-free options and are expanding into vegetarian offerings.

Ordering through Dished! opens at get-dished.com on Friday mornings and it stays open until Wednesday, unless capacity is reached. Once ordering is closed, the menu disappears from the website until the next one is loaded. Pickup or delivery is on Mondays, with pickup in Springboro and delivery to 12+ zip codes and a Centerville DLM parking lot meet-up. They also have many offices that order together to have lunch for the week or meal kits to take home.

Dished! is opening up their brick-and-mortar location early next year. “It will be located on Bigger Road between Clyo and Whipp roads,” she says. “We will have pickup at the store and be adding new offerings to our line. Stay tuned!”
