“Club Pilates Ft. Wright is a boutique fitness studio specializing in reformer pilates,” explains studio co-owner Lori Gray. “Pilates is a system of low-impact exercises that focuses on your body’s core, the abdomen, back, thighs, glutes, and pelvic floor.”

The original studio, which was inspired by Joseph Pilates, was created to give others better access to pilates. Now, as part of a franchise brand, Gray and her business partner Kelly Dicken Newman are able to bring the exercise experience to the Ft. Wright and Northern Kentucky area.

There are more than 54 classes a week at the Ft. Wright location, with seven different class types and four different class levels. Gray says that the low-impact exercise allows for modifications for each movement, so no matter the age or fitness level, those who participate can create a strong foundation for daily movement.

When asked what makes their studio unique, Gray says that its the team’s dedication to creating a welcoming and friendly environment. “We work very hard to be present in our studio and know our clients by name,” she says. “We encourage all to give us a try no matter what your fitness level or previous experience with exercise, and love to celebrate milestones big or small.”

Additionally, she says, the team makes promoting a healthy lifestyle fun.

Club Pilates is located about 10 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, at 3420 Valley Plaza Parkway in Ft. Wright.
