Leslie Edmunds grew up a farmers daughters, and it was her childhood that taught her all about the appreciation for wholesome, nutritional foods. As she grew, she knew she wanted to bring that some kind of knowledge to others, and she launched her own nutrition and wellness business.
Throughout time, her vision evolved and she launched Clem&Thyme Nutrition, the nutrition and wellness destination of Ohio providing the highest quality of nutritional counseling from a team of registered dietitians and more. “We are a safe space for our clients to prioritize their health and become the best version of themselves,” says Edmunds.
Edmunds says that her business embodies her personality as a dietitian and a health professional, creating Clem&Thyme Nutrition from her maiden name, Clem, her favorite snack, clementines, and one of her favorite herbs, thyme. And now, from her evolution in the industry, she is providing more than just health and nutrition services, she’s also providing yoga classes in the barn, a community garden, and live cooking classes to name a few.
According to Edmunds, most of the clients at Clem&Thyme have health insurance that covers the cost of their nutrition appointments including grocery store tours and meal planning sessions. In addition to this, Clem&Thyme also offers nutritional therapy, biometric testing for food sensitivity, hormones, and vitamin/mineral testing, exercise classes, live cooking classes, online courses, and even event rentals at the barn.
And as companies look for ways to improve the health and wellness of their employees, Clem&Thyme Nutrition also offers corporate wellness and consulting services for organizations including corporate wellness presentations; lunch ‘n learn seminars; individual counseling for employees; cooking demonstrations and interactive meal planning seminars; group weight loss programs; and company retreats at the office. “Get away from the office and enjoy a cooking demo in our kitchen, a wellness presentation, yoga class, and more,” adds Edmunds.
In addition to the services offered by Clem&Thyme Nutrition, the nutrition and wellness destination brings a unique approach to helping its clients. “Live in moderation, not deprivation,” says Edmunds. “This simple philosophy is reflected in all of our services. Our registered dietitians have varying backgrounds, experience, and expertise.”
The team at Clem&Thyme Nutrition is currently preparing for the launch of their second cohort for the nutrition program titled “Are You Following the Right Diet for your DNA?” “This program is a 6-month online course that includes a comprehensive genetics test and a one-on-one assessment with a registered dietitian nutritionist. “Participants will learn what type of diet, exercise, and supplements are optimal for their bodies,” says Edmunds.
