The Chic Guide: What is the inspiration behind it?
Walter: The inspiration behind it is honestly all the other small businesses that I have grown up around. I have always admired the hard work that has been put into a small business!
The Chic Guide: Who is behind it?
Walter: I am Emma & my boyfriend Caleb is honestly the brains around the macrame! We work together to create the pieces in our shop!
The Chic Guide: What can we find when we shop The Moon’s Creations?
Walter: We have a little bit of everything macrame’y! Our best sellers are our large macrame plant hangers and our small macrame plant bag charms! We make fiber rainbows of all colors, basic macrame keychains, macrame wristlets for keys, macrame crystal keychains, ect.
The Chic Guide: What makes The Moon’s Creations unique?
Walter: We are only 17, so being younger than most small business owners definitely makes us unique!
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Walter: We are collaborating with one of our close business friends, Harding Supply Company. They just opened a brick and mortar so they will be carrying some of our items in person. They are also making laser cut and engraved wood pieces to incorporate our macrame in different ways outside of our traditional pieces.
