Allison Paley, Founder of the Kefi Collection: The Kefi Collection was created by the effort of women with a passion to consciously design wearable, functional art out of fine gems and raw materials with deliberate, delicate intention. Kefi was designed to compliment your eye-ware; creating an aesthetic, charming hold around your neck – so you no loner need to wonder where you placed your glasses with our functional pendants that you can hold your glasses in.
The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Paley: I was enchanted every time my father would bring me home a new piece of jewelry from his travels. I find my passion for creating fine jewelry in the art of knowing. The craft of understanding each piece that I own – the origin of each stone, the designer, where did their vision derive? How did this become the piece that found its way to me? I seek inspiration in the detail and the creative process behind each piece Kefi creates. Highlighting the beauty of unusual stone & the euphoric blend of metals and rock – Kefi was created to inspire others to know the Why in each piece that they wear.

Paley: I’m the founder of The Kefi Collection, and work alongside my jeweler Dominique.
