Brenda Rose Bixby & Kyla Rose Burton, Founders of Rose Transformations: Rose Transformations is a mother-daughter owned & operated, certified personal image company that works with women of all ages.
We have a passion for teaching women how to look and feel their personal best. Every woman is beautiful in her own, unique way. While we all have our thorns, we also all have our rose – our good thing!
The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Bixby & Burton: We have always felt called to help women. A few years ago, we were in the works with our daughter/sister of figuring out a business that we would all do together to help women. Unfortunately, she ended up getting very sick with Metastatic Breast Cancer and though she was such a fighter, we lost her about 2 years ago. We knew that she would really want us to go after our dreams, so just this past fall we decided to go for it in honor of her. The butterfly in our logo is to represent her.
The Chic Guide: What services do you offer at Rose Transformations?
Bixby & Burton: We offer color analysis, body, and style analysis, and we just recently launched our full transformation package. We discover your personal color palette, unlock your true personal style, and teach you how to dress and style pieces to best flatter your shape.
The Chic Guide: How does a session with you work?
Bixby & Burton: Our color analysis sessions are in-person. We determine your personal color palette and we teach you and apply makeup in the correct coloring. These can be done as a personal appointment or as a small group, which is really fun and makes for great girl time! We also do pop-ups at local boutiques and businesses.
Our body and style analysis can be done in-person or virtually. This is broken up into 2 sessions as we work through questions, look at body architecture, etc. during the first session and then create custom reports to go over during the second session. You really learn a lot of great information from both color analysis and style analysis that can be used for life. We provide you with tools to maintain your image on your own (though we are always here for support!)
The Chic Guide: What makes Rose Transformations unique?
Bixby & Burton: What makes us unique is that we do this as a mother-daughter team so we are able to work with women of all ages and relate to them. Plus, when working with us, you have two sets of trained eyes! Our clients seem to really love that we do this as a team and we have actually had several mothers and daughters come to us to experience it together. Another thing that makes us unique is that when working with us for style, we really pull out your true style, not just what’s trending or what we consider to be “our” style. It’s all about what brings the true you to surface for everyone to see.
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Bixby & Burton: Yes! We are working on adding “client exclusive” services. This means that once you have worked with us, you will have access to us for some other services, but we won’t say just yet what they are! Stay tuned.
