The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Bowman: My mantra is “every party should be pretty.” Why? Because every reason to celebrate is special and should look special too! Balloons bring that instant “wow” factor to any occasion. The problem is, balloon garlands and setups are very time consuming. If you’ve ever attempted a DIY version, you can attest to this! And it’s hard to get that luxurious look if you aren’t sure where to start. That’s where I come in! Party Pretty NKY loves to bring that “wow” factor to your party for you so you don’t have to stress, design, purchase the right materials, and put in all that time.
The Chic Guide: Who’s behind it?
Bowman: My name is Courtney Bowman. I’m a wife and a mother of three. I’ve always included balloons in their birthday parties and fell in love with the art of it! It’s become a creative outlet and I really enjoy it.
The Chic Guide: What party design services do you offer?
Bowman: I offer fully customizable designs. This includes garlands, walls, clusters, centerpieces, columns, and arches. I also offer Grab + Go garlands – garlands 4-7 feet in length that you can pick up and hang at your party yourself! They are ideal for smaller gatherings or smaller budgets. I hope to eventually expands into gifts and deliveries in the near future.
The Chic Guide: What makes Party Pretty unique?
Bowman: Besides being fully customizable, Party Pretty NKY is unique because the owner is also the order-taker, designer, deliverer, and constructor! This means you get individualized attention from start to finish. And because it’s a micro business, every single order is valued and very much appreciated.
The Chic Guide: How far do you travel for party set-ups?
Bowman: I prefer to work within a 30 mile radius of my location in Independence, Kentucky, but I do make exceptions if I’m available!
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Bowman: I would love to eventually include backdrop and vignette rentals as well! They pair so beautifully with balloon decor and would be so convenient for clients.
