Kelsey Morris, Owner of MVMNT Coffee Co.: MVMNT Coffee Co. is a husband and wife owned coffee roastery in Burlington, Kentucky.
The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Morris: Our heart and our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to everyone we meet and what better way to connect with people than through coffee. We desire to be a MOVEMENT, a change of pace in the coffee industry by keeping God at the center. We believe that everyone deserves to drink good coffee, so each bag is roasted fresh per order. We roast in small batches each week to ensure freshness and hand package every order with love and gratitude.
The Chic Guide: Who’s behind it?
Morris: Cory Morris (my husband) is our visionary and the man behind the roaster bringing every green coffee bean to life. I handle our social media, customer service, packaging and am the design expert.
The Chic Guide: What products do you offer?
Morris: All coffee can be ordered in three different quantities: 12oz, 2lb, and 5lb bags. The larger the quantity, the larger discount on beans per ounce. We offer whole bean, regular grind, pour over, chemex, french press, and espresso grind on all of our beans.
Gift cards can be purchased through our website as well as MVMNT branded merchandise. We offer FREE local pick up for anyone in the local NKY/ Cincy area and ship to all regions of the US.
The Chic Guide: Do you have a storefront or do you pop-up at events around the region?
Morris: MVMNT Coffee Co. originally started as a mobile coffee cart. We catered weddings, events, and weekend pop-ups through January of this year. But have since put a halt to our pop ups because we have something better in the works.
COMING SOON: We officially have a cafe and roastery space located at 2901 Washington Street in Burlington that will be opening some time in 2022! Our roastery is open and running with the cafe space to come later this year.
The Chic Guide: What makes MVMNT Coffee unique?
Morris: It’s just the two of us! Everything from our website, logo, and bag designs has been crafted by us. Also, we’re people-people, not business-people. We believe there’s room for everyone at our table. We just want to love our community well. And we hope you see our heart in everything we do.

Morris: Our coffee shop cafe space to open some time later in 2022!!
