Kathryn Schwab, Founder of Make It Count Creative Solutions: Make It Count Creative Solutions is a woman-owned digital marketing agency. Our mission is to help businesses grow and make an impact by providing results-driven websites and content. We primarily work with service-based businesses like photographers, interior designers, and wellness providers. Yet, we recently started working with product-based/e-commerce businesses as well.
The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind the business?
Schwab: My career path has always been guided by service and helping others. I worked as a school psychologist for several years, then I later became interested in health and wellness. After starting a health-based business I met so many amazing business owners in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. I became aware of how overwhelming it is for them to wear so many hats. And the technology and marketing side of that is often the most daunting. That is when I became passionate about helping business owners build and grow an online presence that they love and can feel confident about. My business name represents our mission to provide services that make a difference and the purpose-driven businesses that we work with.

Schwab: That would be me and my incredible team! My name is Kat, and I am the Founder of Make It Count Creative Solutions. I specialize in website design, data analytics, and content writing. Recently, I was considering expanding my services when I met each of my incredible team members at networking events. It has been amazing to have women with unique backgrounds in marketing come together as a team.
The Chic Guide: What services do you currently offer clients?
Schwab: We offer web design, SEO, social media, and writing services for purpose-driven business owners.

Schwab: What makes us unique is that we view our work together as a partnership and we are here for guidance every step of the way. We also truly take the time to get to know and understand your business. So, when we work together, you can expect a customized collaboration that reflects your style and vision.
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Schwab: I am excited to announce that starting in the fourth quarter of 2022 I will be starting a give-back program. Every one of our team members donates their time and skills to non-profit organizations, which is pretty remarkable. Yet, from the start, I have also wanted to donate a percentage of profits to a local cause. I am still in the process of selecting a non-profit, but I am excited to give back in this way.
