Chic Spotlight: Lil’ Bloom Truck

Brighten your day with blooms from this DIY flower truck.

The Chic Guide: Tell us about Lil’ Bloom Truck!
Heidi Reynolds, Founder of Lil’ Bloom Truck: Lil’ Bloom Truck is a seasonal flower truck from Lebanon that offers a build-your-own bouquet experience. We sell locally-grown flowers priced per stem out of our classic 1964 F100 pickup truck. You can buy one flower or a bountiful bouquet, it’s completely up to you! We typically have a pop-up event 1-2 times a week in Lebanon and the surrounding communities.

The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind Lil’ Bloom Truck?
Reynolds: Our inspiration behind Lil’ Bloom Truck was to support local businesses and to bring joy to our community. We wanted to give our customers the control to create their own unique blend of blooms to brighten their every day. We strive to bring a smile to each person’s face through the beauty of flowers and our baby blue pickup truck.

The Chic Guide: Who’s behind it?
Reynolds: I started this flower truck with the help and support of my husband, Xander. During a year of lockdown and isolation in 2020, I felt the need for a creative outlet that would bring joy to my community. Creating Lil’ Bloom Truck was the perfect venture. I gained experience working at a florist shop while searching for the perfect pickup truck. In the summer of 2021, Lil’ Bloom Truck was born.

The Chic Guide: Are you participating in any upcoming events?
Reynolds: Yes! We will be a vendor at Centerville’s Party in the Park at Stubbs Park on July 15. We will also be a vendor at the Centerville Fall Festival on October 2. Along with our regular pop-up events, we will be adding a couple more events late summer and early fall in Lebanon. Be sure to follow us for an updated schedule on our website.

The Chic Guide: What makes Lil’ Bloom Truck unique?
Reynolds: What makes us unique is our commitment to sourcing locally grown blooms. We drive to 4-5 flower farms, sometimes more, each week to source the amount and variety of blooms we need to bring you an amazing DIY bouquet experience. We love working with our local flower farmers. Plus, the freshness and longevity of the local blooms is unparalleled.

The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon for Lil’ Bloom Truck?
Reynolds: We currently offer the entire flower truck to rent for private events. However, we would really like to make the DIY bouquet experience more accessible for smaller home parties and events. Therefore, we are currently working on a standalone DIY bouquet setup that will elevate any intimate gathering. Stay tuned for details!

The Chic Guide: Where can readers go to learn more and follow along?
Reynolds: Our website offers information regarding our subscriptions as well as our truck pop-up schedule, which is updated monthly. You can also follow us on Facebook or Instagram, where we post our pop-up locations each week.
