The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Hoyt: The boutique has a vintage vibe with a modern edge. It is named after the owner’s great grandmother Leeta and her grandmother Ruth. Both of these women possessed an artistic flair and impeccable sense of style and are an inspiration for both the space and the clothing.

Hoyt: I founded and manager the boutique! But the energy of the space is truly the result of a community of women who support the boutique and years of collaborating within the city with other women looking for similar energy.

Hoyt: We feature a mix of classic clothing pieces and unique finds, all of which are selected and designed to help women build a wardrobe that is fun and functional and will last over time.

Hoyt: What makes Leeta Ruth Boutique unique is that it is not just about the clothing. Leeta Ruth is founded based on the idea that style, happiness, and community make a difference, and that providing a space for women to focus on themselves and lift each other is much needed.
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon for 2022?
Hoyt: Yes! Leeta Ruth recently started an event series called “Be Here, by Leeta Ruth.” These events are the result of a desire to collaborate with other female voices in the Cincinnati area as well as a desire to provide women an opportunity to take time out for themselves to just be and to fill their own cups.
