Jenn Morgan, Founder of Fudge By Jenn: Fudge By Jenn is a home-based, fudge shoppe in West Chester Township. It’s old-fashioned, small batch artisan fudge that will blow your fudging mind!
The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Morgan: My own obsession for fudge has fueled my business idea, but it’s my mother that is the ongoing inspiration. She passed away from breast cancer in early 2019 before she could see any of this take off. But I like to think she’s still following along.
The Chic Guide: Who’s behind it?
Morgan: It’s me! My number one job is a stay-at-home mom of two young boys (4 & 7) and I make and sell fudge in whatever downtime I can muster up.
The Chic Guide: What’s on the menu?
Morgan: If you can dream it, I can fudge it. I have hundreds of fudge flavors and combinations that I’ve created, but I obviously make more of the common flavors people have come to love. My fudge is typically sold in 1/4 lb Packs, 1/2 lb Fudge Flights, Bite Boxes, or Platters.
The Chic Guide: What makes Fudge by Jenn unique?
Morgan: Texture and flavor – Fudge By Jenn has a unique smoothness along with high-impact flavor. I also love to make the fudge look like the flavor. For example, Key Lime Pie fudge isn’t just green fudge with graham crackers sprinkled on top. It’s made with layers of graham cracker fudge, lime fudge and marshmallow fudge to look like a slice of pie! Fudge By Jenn is perfect for heart-felt gifting from a local business. Or just for stocking your own fridge with delicious treats.
The Chic Guide: Where can readers find you around town?
Morgan: I’m a home-based business but I schedule pop-ups where I will plan for select flavors with a set window for online ordering through my website and set a day for porch pickup for all orders. Otherwise, I announce available flavors as I have them that anyone can grab.
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Morgan: I started making vendor show appearances in 2021 and really enjoyed it. I plan to do more of those this year. I just love to meet new people face to face and talk about my fudge obsession.
