The Chic Guide: What is Ciao bel Fiore Handcrafted?
Ashely Graham, Founder of Ciao bel Fiore Handcrafted: Cia bel Fiore, which means “Hello, Beautiful Flower” in Italian is a female-owned, home-based artistry located in Dayton.
I individually design and handcrafted each candle and all other products with only the finest sustainable and luxurious of components.
Each candle, custom or otherwise, is nestled within a repurposed vessel, and adorned with an intentional floral design. All of our floral designs are laid out on paper prior to the candle being poured, then transferred to the candle at various drying times for a distinctive and dynamic look. From antique glass and modern tumblers, to wood dough bowls and copper kettles, our candles have become unique gifts and centerpieces, appeasing a wide array of design styles.
Our other items include: Room & Linen Mists, Ciao Bugs | All-Natural Bug Spray, Wool Dryer Ball & Essential Oil Sets, Scent Sachets and Wax Melts. All of these products have been created with sustainability in mind and each have their own unique flare.
The Chic Guide: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Graham: Ciao bel Fiore was inspired by loss and the desire to impart happiness. I started this business in May of 2020 after being furloughed from my full time career. During this time, I was looking to create a business that was a creative outlet and an opportunity to create beautiful and purposeful art that had the potential to inspire happiness during an uncertain time.
The Chic Guide: Who’s behind the business?
Graham: It’s myself, the creator and artist, and Aaron Farrier from Paradigm Multimedia who is the graphic designer and brand manager.
The Chic Guide: What products can readers find in your shop?
Graham: 100% soy, clean burning luxury candles; each customized with natural essential oil blends and artistically designed floral tops. We also have 100% organic room and linen mists, Ciao Bugs – all-natural bug spray, scent sachets, would dryer balls and essential oil sets, and wax melts.

Graham: Our candles are truly customized, luxurious, works of art, tailored to design features our clients desire. From our vessels, to our complex scent profiles and unique floral designs, each candle has the ability to tell a story, manifest a memory or evoke a smile. All while never sacrificing quality or clean burning standards.
The Chic Guide: Is there anything new on the horizon for your business?
Graham: We will soon be offering eternal candles, body, bath, and hair oil, and moisturizing candles.
