Cecilia Maria Proffitt wanted to change the tattoo space. She wanted to build something that was a professional, spa-like experience in a safe, relaxing, inclusive environment where she could provide female-focused tattooing services. Thus, Cecilia Maria Tattoo Studio was born.
The formally educated artist is the founder behind the business offering a private, appointment only, female-focused tattooing experience featuring cosmetic, paramedical, and traditional tattooing.
“My first tattooing experiences and certifications were in cosmetic and paramedical tattooing, these modalities have allowed me to bring new techniques, tools, styles, and feminine motifs to traditional tattooing,” she says.
The focus at Cecilia Maria Tattoo Studio includes traditional tattooing with a focus on black and gray illustrative realism and delicate, fine-line tattooing. Cosmetic tattooing services include Bespoke Brows and lip blushing while paramedical tattooing services include scar and stretch mark camouflage and possible decoration as well as areola replacement and enhancement.
Proffitt believes that your ink should celebrate you and your journey, and that’s why she strives to offer a quality experience for all of her clients. “Cecilia Maria Tattoo Studio offers a professionals creative, and inclusive tattooing experience,” she says. “We will work together to assure your tattoo design is true to your intention. The tattooing techniques I practice are low impact but, if the process becomes a bit too much, I’m certified in topical pain management.”
